nineDots was founded in Cian’s kitchen in 2017. How time has flown since then! We’ve grown from a one-man-band to a ten person crew, and have helped lots of companies grow in that time.Why are we here though? Surely there are enough recruitment agencies out there?There are, but with nineDots the idea was to approach things by thinking outside the box (like the nineDots puzzle, geddit?!).Thinking outside the box has become a lived value for us, and part of who we are :)We felt that recruitment as an industry gets a bad rep, and more often than not it’s due to a lack of honesty. Our decision to just be ourselves, be transparent and help where we can has meant that we’ve been able to help companies grow, give back to the community, offer advice to those who need it, and show that there are some genuine folk in recruitment!Over the years we’ve kept ourselves small and nimble. We’re adaptable because we don’t have any red tape to hold us back, we’ve grown our presence outside of Ireland because nobody can tell us not to, and we collaborate closely with each other - because team work makes the dream work!As for the future, we’ve big plans! We’ve gone from a kitchen table to our own office, so if we keep thinking outside the box we can’t go too far wrong!

We’re still buzzing after  @EthIreland  2025!  Here’s a few highlights of a truly special weekend:  nineDots Coffee Station: Our coffee station became an essential pit-stop for mid-session refuels for the hackers, ETH team and attendees alike!  Merch Madness: We ran a merch giveaway, and the response was way beyond what we expected. Special shoutout to  @irishnftgal  and the  @moonmars  Project for the collab on the limited edition  @EthIreland   x  @nineDots_IO  T’s.  Breaking Into Web3: We broke down practical ways to transition from Web2 and other careers into areas like ops, community, marketing, and biz dev - no Solidity required.  Massive shout out to Johanna Moran on this one!  Hackathon Highlights: Another massive highlight was our own Oscar Burns being asked to be involved in judging the Hackathon!  Huge congratulations to the winners! RecETH, Latinum and Fundraisly  Also, a massive thank you to the other judges, the competition was intense, so well done it couldn't have been easy! - Boaz Sobrado, Beatrice O'Carroll, Pete Townsend, Jason Ward, Erin Duggan, Ryan Kemp and Caolán W.
